Porch elements; Roofing; Siding; Windows; Other:
    • Remove front hipped dormer (added); repair or replace in kind sawn wood attic vent; install tongue & groove porch floor; rebuild or align porch piers as necessary, or (if demolition or research revals original style) replicate original porch column style; redo foundation, building brick faced concrete foundation around perimeter and using Preservation Brief #2; reroof, removing attic turbo vent; add 16'x35' rear addition, extending rear portion of hip roof, with 4" lap wood siding, one over one double hung windows (some paired), corner boards, cornice and soffit, half view door with transom at rear. (NOTE: rear addition is not visible from Jefferson Avenue.)

    • Style: Altered Folk Victorian Cottage; Craftsman (c. 1880;1910)
    • One story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gables, asphalt shingle covering and porch roof with pedimnet at front entry to porch. One story full front porch with splayed wood posts on brick piers. Double hung one over one windows. Two interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation. Rectangular plan. Siodelights and transom at front entry. Fire damage at rear of structure.
    • NOTE: Craftsman porch with entry portico and front dormer have been added to late Victorian center hall cottage. Interior mantels, tiled fireplace surrounds, doors, interior transoms and floor plan are consistent with much earlier Victorian-era cottage.
