Annual One Year Plan Update Gets Underway
The Metropolitan Planning Commission is beginning the annual update of the One Year Plan for the City of Knoxville.
What is the One Year Plan?
The One Year Plan is a land use and zoning plan. It is the basis for zoning of all properties in the City of Knoxville. It is updated yearly and guided by citizen involvement to ensure that it is current and accurate when used to promote community growth, preservation, and enhancement.

How do I get involved?
There will be three public meetings in February. MPC staff will be there to talk about last year’s plan amendments, proposed zoning for recently annexed property, and proposed staff amendments for 2017. MPC encourages community members to attend to ask questions and comment on proposed updates.
