Schedule of Fees Update Coming
On October 10, 2019, the Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission voted to adopt an updated schedule of fees, which will go into effect on January 1, 2020. These changes are being implemented to address inconsistencies in existing fees.
Recent changes, such as the updated Knoxville-Knox County Subdivision Regulations and City of Knoxville Zoning Ordinance (which will go into effect January 1, 2020), prompted this update. In addition to these updates, Planning staff recognized a need to align fees for all design review boards, including Historic Zoning Commission, Infill Housing Review Committee, and Downtown Design Review Board. Staff has also incorporated fees for resubmittals and postponements that more accurately reflect the cost incurred by the agency for staff reviews and public noticing.
