As the next step in the Advance Knox process, Knox County is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from a qualified consultant firm to create a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).

The purpose of this project is to develop, draft, and adopt the county’s first UDO combining the zoning
ordinance and land development regulations into a cohesive, singular resource. The result will be a
Unified Development Ordinance and Zoning Map for the unincorporated areas of Knox County.
