Jenna Muetterties joins the Information Services team as Assistant Webmaster

Jenna may be our newest team member, but she spent the last year as our Information Services intern.

As an intern, she digitized archived documents to make them available to the public. She also created a reference database for our Planning team that includes resources they use in their work, such as articles, journals, books, websites, and more.

After graduating in May from the University of Tennessee, she took time off to spend time with her family, which included pedaling through France for 10 days and indulging in their food culture.

Jenna officially joined our staff in July as our Assistant Webmaster/ Web Developer, where she is putting her degree to good use. She majored in information sciences with a concentration in user experience design (UX) and minor in graphic design.

Her new role includes all things websites, from quality control to improving the user experience. She is most looking forward to building new websites for long-term planning projects.

Her creativity extends to physical art as well. She loves drawing, and her preferred medium is pen and ink. She is inspired to draw things she sees in real life but does not shy away from using her imagination.

Jenna’s other hobbies include hiking, running, yoga, and water sports like white water rafting. In addition to being physically adventurous, she loves to get lost in historical fiction books, preferably while relaxing in one of her favorite coffee shops, like Jacks or Old City Java.
