The final stage of Advance Knox is creating a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to combine all relevant development regulations into one document. It will include zoning, street standards, subdivision regulations, stormwater regulations, and fire and building codes.

In September, the project team held a series of meetings with the public, committee members, and elected and appointed officials. Working with the feedback received, consultants are now drafting the document.

Over the next few months, the project team will host a series of virtual meetings, share material on the website, and provide opportunities for feedback. When the draft UDO is complete, another series of in-person meetings will be held prior to the adoption process.
