UDO Virtual Meeting Series Update
The final stage of Advance Knox is creating a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to combine all relevant development regulations into one document. It will include zoning, street standards, subdivision regulations, stormwater regulations, and fire and building codes.
In September, the project team held a series of meetings with the public, committee members, and elected and appointed officials. Working with the feedback received, consultants are now drafting the document.
To share information and provide regular updates throughout the drafting process, the project team is hosting a series of virtual meetings, sharing material on the website, and providing opportunities for feedback. When the draft UDO is complete, another series of in-person meetings will be held prior to the adoption process.
The first meeting was held on January 27, 2026, and the recording and all materials shared are available for review on the project website.
Wednesday, February 25, 2026
12:00 – 1:00 pm
Following the meeting, the recording and all materials will be shared online with the opportunity to provide feedback.
The March meeting date has not yet been scheduled. It will be posted on the Advance Knox website when it is confirmed.
