Please DENY this request as presented. Our community has added thousands of homes in recent years, and the resulting impacts are already quite evident traffic congestion has increased significantly, and our road network has not kept pace with this growth. Local schools are also experiencing capacity strain, with no clear plan for how additional households will be accommodated. We need to put a stop to four-per-acre developments. These high-density, uniform (cookie-cutter) developments are negatively impacting the long-term property values and stability of the surrounding community. The character of Karns is being destroyed by these developers and the Knox County Planning Commission that is allowing it time and time again. I respectfully urge the Planning Commission to consider the cumulative impacts of recent development and require meaningful infrastructure improvements, school capacity solutions, or a reduction in density before approving this and future requests.
