I am emailing because as a requirement in your case file, there should have been signs placed at this property notifying the community. The signs were NOT placed on this property until Tuesday of this week. The community was unaware of this and has not had time to gather their comments as we were just now made known. Also, this is a HISTORIC home, with historic values and I believe it should be checked for eligibility to be registered as such before it is torn down to put yet another development. There are over 600 homes ALREADY approved for this area that we have yet to see the full ramifications of. Also, these two streets are one lane and this particular intersection is pretty dangerous and does not have good visibility at all. Road widening, and a traffic light would certainly need to occur as a result of this if approved for safety.

There are a few areas of concern I would like to address:
1. The Sharp house. This is a very important home to the Gibbs/Corryton community. Although it’s not registered as a historical location, we need to look into the possibility of that or preserving this home.

2. The required signs for rezoning/sector plan amendment did not go up until 2 days ago. This did not give the community enough time to respond. Only bordering property owners received their mailers.

This needs to be addressed and taken into account during the discussion of this item.
