I am a resident of Montgomery Cove and am writing to record my opposition to the proposed development off Harvey Road. I recognize that more housing is needed in Knox County and do not oppose housing per se. But I do oppose housing that is being proposed before planning for adequate infrastructure along Northshore Drive. Northshore Drive is already dangerous, without shoulders or a center lane to accommodate turning traffic and emergency situations. Please go back to the drawing board and first put in place the infrastructure needed to safely accommodate more housing.
