This development is extremely detrimental to our livelihood. Please do not approve anymore development in this area! Many of us have well water that is being affected. The roads, schools, the one main grocery store, amongst other community amenities cannot support the influx of structures and/or people in this area. Furthermore, the wildlife in this area have little space left and many are important to our ecosystem. Lastly, this area is already suffering from heavy pollution from the adjacent I-40. I encourage you to deny the developers request and not give in to greed! Thanks for your time and attention.

Please deny this! Our roads are to narrow for extra traffic. The traffic we have now is ridiculous, you can barely get out of your own driveway without being hit by a car that is coming over to pass a car. We don't need anymore people in our area.

Please follow staff recommendation and deny this concept plan and development plan due to inadequate road width. As the transportation analysis says, Carter Mill Drive is too narrow to accept this amount of houses. But what the transportation analysis fails to mention is that the roads that Carter Mill Drive leads to - Wooddale Church Road and McCubbins Road - are also far too narrow. Even if Carter Mill Road is widened, these roads would need to be widened too.

As a resident of this community, I ask you to take your staff's recommendation and deny these plans. As the traffic analysis states, Carter Mill Road is too narrow. Further, Wooddale Church Road is too narrow and all the traffic on Carter Mill Road will end up on it.

My husband and I drove down Carter Mill Road two weeks ago and a standard at the number of housing units that had gone in. The Carter schools have to be crowded. Traffic in the mornings for school has to be overwhelming. We drove on out to McCubbins Road and my feeling was to stop more development on Carter Mill. East Knox County roads are not wide enough for all the traffic that is being placed on them.
I would say no to Carter Valley or part nine of Carter Mill.

Carter Mill Road and S Carter School Road cannot handle all the traffic. We already have issues with the amount of traffic coming out of Carter Mill onto Carter School Road there have been multiple wrecks at this intersection already. Its getting more and more dangerous in this area. More house and more traffic is going to be deadly unless there are major road improvements in our area.

I wanna start by saying that I have family and their friends that live on this road. Driving on this road has always been a hazard just because it’s such a narrow road. A car cannot safely pass by school bus without going off the edge a little or pulling over into a driveway. This causes me great concern for the children riding the school buses and the community members. This narrow roadway and the impending heavy traffic is a recipe for disaster. Someone is going to get severely injured. This isn’t just about the housing. It’s about the safety of the people especially the children in our community. Please consider how incredibly hazardous this can be. As a mother with children at Carter Elementary and Carter high school I already know that their class sizes are at maximum and the school cannot handle all the children that are coming with this impending housing build. Which means our community members and their children are going to suffer. The teachers are going to suffer. The staff are going to suffer. This is going to bring nothing good to our community. The only thing it is bringing is hard times for students and staff at our schools and safety hazards to the community. Please do the right thing, protect our little community and protect our children.

Please stop with all this building in such a small area and overloading or schools and roads. We cannot handle anymore subdivisions
