As a long time resident in the Bexhill community right across Ebenezer, this planned development would be detrimental to our community in several ways. The traffic on Ebenezer over the past few years has increased significantly and I’ve noticed more accidents, excessive speeding, and increased difficulty navigating the area. The crosswalks that were installed on Ebenezer are rather pointless because of a pedestrian hits the button, traffic never stops! It’s dangerous! The increased traffic and lack of infrastructure has caused a very dangerous road, Ebenezer, and made it exceptionally difficult for residents to navigate their own community. I strong oppose this proposed development and hope the community voices their opposition as well. The road cannot handle this kind of development and nothing is being done to add safety measures or to protect the residents who already live here! I ask that you consider my comment in your decision to approve or disapprove the proposed development. I, and my family, are strongly opposed to this development and feel this will make our community even more dangerous than it already is due to traffic, number of residents, and lack of infrastructure and obedience of road and traffic laws by the increasing number of people in the area.
