I have grown up on this road my entire life and now live on this road, there is no room for suburban style living. Every one on this road owns property that we use for farming, cattle, horses, family time and still a piece of country living . The road cannot hold more traffic , it's a tight wagon road . My family the Bells , have owned and still do own alot of this road. There is multiple cars everyday that end up in the ditch , flat tires , wrecked etc. A lot of people fly up and down this road at 40-50 mph. I drive a tundra and I have to come to a stop to pass someone. We as a road have trailers, boats, campers, live stock that are transported daily monthly. That being said there is also NO housing shortage in our area, there is so many houses on the market all over the city that can be bought and turned into a home. Building new houses in an area that has been took care of for generations by a select few families is very disappointing and down right greedy. Who ever owns this property should look in the mirror and stop adding to the gentrification of Knoxville and Knox County. You will be destroying our wild life pushing them out of the area also, we have bears, deer, coyotes, turkeys , bobcats, owls, foxes, etc. I ask that you reconsider for everyone's safety involved, and if not maybe just put 2 or 4 million dollar homes on 2 or 4 acres to ensure that the road keeps its integrity and the people keep there life style.

The road is not wide enough to fit 2 cars passing by each other. There are no safety measures for the increased traffic such as speed bumps, turning lanes, or guard rails.
