Knox County has set aside East Knoxville for the preservation of farmland and protection of wildlife. What is the EPA and TVA response to the impact of mass development to the natural resources of the area?

Being a Realtor in the community I do need more homes to sell, but small lots are not what I hear customers are looking to purchase!
The locals and all the out of town buyers that are moving to East Tennessee are asking me to find them homes on 1 acre++
I sold 14 homes in this neighborhood in 2020 and all were on 1 acre ++
There is a way to honor the community and the ancestors of this farm land community.
Have you all considered an agrihood?
What about a Liveonafarm agrihood community with a pavilion for a CSA Farmers Market and a community garden? The new model of living that is popping up across the country taps into the local food movement.
Has anyone who has commented on this gone to talk to the family that is trying to get this passed? Or is everyone listening to a third party that has pitted the entire street against a family they have never spoken with?
Hello, my name is Taylor and I have been raised on this property for 13 years! The only view we have is of the field in front of our house. Everything surrounding us is trees except for the field. I love sitting on my front porch and listening to the birds and watching the squirrels and deer feed. If a subdivision is built in the field, everything nice that we have will be gone. I have a pitbull I let roam on our property. I will not be putting her on a leash when she goes outside. Also, people in subdivisions spray weed killer in their yards....the wind brings the spray over into OUR yard, killing anything the bees are attracted to, AND the bees! We have a garden, we need those pollinators in order to have a decent garden/grow!!! This will destroy everything we have done over the years to have a decent food crop for years to come!! We have way too many memories in that field to just let this happen. On July 4th, we shoot off fireworks in the field. We use the field to lay and watch the stars at night. We look for shapes in the clouds... If anything, I would much rather a house ranch be built than a subdivision full of nosey neighbors. We live our here specifically to have our own peace. Please don't take that from us.
One or two more comments: I see this is for Urban Growth Development....so does this also mean the taxes will be raised or now included in the city property to collect more taxes??
This property also borders half of my driveway. Another big concern I have is people using my private drive as a "back gate" so to speak. Or trespassers coming onto my property without permission.
And there is the issue of people who live in subdivisions spraying for weed control, while I am trying to keep my pollinators around for my garden....that is a very big issue!! The winds will blow their spray right into my garden area.
4.105.01. Minimum requirements.A. The facility shall be located, so that they are not within one thousand three hundred twenty (1,320) feet of another "recovery housing" facility;
The 8535 & 8537 properties are two separate properties. They have two separate buildings and have paid separate taxes for dozens of years. This is a clear violation of the zoning ordinance to consider two of them as one. That is why we have the zoning laws to protect the taxpayers. To say that the MPC will use their "administrative judgment " to bypass the zoning requirement to force a large drug recovery house on a community that does not want it is just wrong on so many levels. Wilma tore down Cardin's and left this community behind. Robert doesn't live in this community. They are not concerned about the little children at the elementary school right across the highway. Shame. Shame. Shame.
The soul savages ARE SAYING that they are buying that 8535 property from Robert, not leasing it. This is not about helping the community. This is just about making money.
