I understand the the desire to approve this subdivision; however, I think an additional factor that should be considered in order to approve is the continued increased traffic on Greenwell Road which is a major feeder into Emory Road which is a 4 lane highway with a turning lane. The speed on Emory Road is posted as 40 mph; however, speeds are typically 50-60 mph. Greenwell feeds onto Emory Road in a curve and multiple accidents including fatal accidents have occurred at this intersection. It would be wise to create traffic light "brake" at this intersection to help slow speed in this area as well as provide safety for vehicles that are feeding into Emory Road.
Please strongly consider making this highway improvement as you consider approval of this additional subdivision.

A couple of additional notes from my prior comment. Additionally, Greenwell Road also has several areas that frequently have water running across them due to poor drainage. In the winter, this becomes more dangerous due to "icing." Specific areas to note include around 8007 Greenwell Road and 8112 Greenwell Road.
