Halls area is already overwhelmed with traffic. It takes 20 minutes to go 3 miles. Halls area doesn’t just make up the Halls community but also Maynardville, Tazewell and New Tazewell. Highway 33 is heavily traveled on a daily basis. Adding another subdivision to an already overwhelmed area will become a nightmare. Please do not pass this as it will cripple our community. Knoxville is becoming what people are moving away from. Overpopulated and loss since of community.

I have serious concerns about the traffic volume onto Maynardville Pike during certain times of the day. It is frequently several minutes to cross into center lane to merge into southbound in the afternoon. Cars for the subdivision going northbound will be in the turn lane preventing acceleration to merge southbound. If there are 150 homes eventually in that subdivision, the amount of cars entering and exiting will definitely cause more than 1 vehicle in queues waiting to turn. Most homes will have 2 vehicles which means by 2028 there will be up to 300 vehicles in that subdivision . This will just add to heavy congestion already in Halls in morning from 7:30 to 9 am and afternoon from 3 to 5:30 . I don't think vehicle impact was done during these hours.

I have concerns about entrance not showing 22' at road on proposed map. Stops at property line not access to Maynardville highway. Has TDOT been notified?
