See attached for my full comments in support of this Amendment as both a local renter who can't afford a house due to lack of supply and as a Knoxville Transportation Authority Commissioner.

I am a nearby resident, and I absolutely support the rezoning of this land to medium density. Knoxville is sorely lacking in this style of housing, and while I would personally love to see townhomes built on the land, based on the proximity to the apartments, I assume more of them will be placed on this land. Again, I am a big proponent of this rezoning, and hope that the infrastructure nearby (sidewalks, etc) can be improved to accommodate the higher number of residents (but by no means find that to be a requirement as density is great in this area, I'd love to see more business nearby because of the higher density).
