A Certificate of Appropriateness for a sign permit was approved on 1/30/2026.
This request is to replace a building sign for a new restaurant tenant, Rock n Roll Sushi.

1) 'Rock n Roll' will be composed of internally LED-illuminated channel lettering with matte white acrylic faces. 'Sushi' will be composed of a red and white, internally LED-illuminated cabinet with a matte acrylic face. The channel lettering and cabinet will be mounted on a black-painted aluminum panel backlit by red LED lighting.
2) The outer limits of the channel lettering is 36.21 sq ft and the cabinet is 7.77 sq ft. The total square footage for the proposed sign is approximately 43.98 sq ft, which is within the maximum 50 sq ft area allowed based on the tenant's linear frontage.
3) The proposed sign would be mounted below the roof line on the south side of the building facing Hardin Valley Road.
