Applications, meeting schedules, fees, and more

Planning Commission pre-application consultations now required 
Prior to application submission, staff consultations are now required for the following application types: comprehensive plan amendments (county only), concept plans, use on reviews, special uses, and development plans. The consultation shall occur at least seven days prior to the deadline for application submittal. A pre-submittal consultation with Planning staff is encouraged for all other application types and should occur prior to submission of an application. For more information on this process, please refer to the Deadlines + Fees and Pre-Application Consultation documents below. 
  • Download and complete the appropriate documents below
  • Email completed applications to applications@knoxplanning.org
  • Staff will review the application and contact you for payment
  • We cannot guarantee your case will be heard at the next meeting
  • All cases are subject to postponement
  • Any applications filed after the standard deadline day will be placed on the following month's meeting agenda
