Skylights or solar collectors

- Install three square 30"x30" skylights on the south-facing roof slope. The operable, deck-mounted skylights will have a clear, flat pane of glass and a 3"-4" curb that will protrude above the roof plane. The curb will be of a dark neutral color that will blend with the shingles of the garage roof.

- Style: Garage (2017)
  - 1-1/2- story frame garage with asphalt-shingled hipped roof and cross gables. Garage is to be ~27' high and ~18'-4" to the average roof height.

- 5. Do not use solar collectors, modern skylights, or inappropriate structures on roof planes that are visible from the street. Do not install them where they interfere with decorative roof elements. If they are installed, they should not comprise more than 3% of the total roof surface.
