Applicant Request
:
    • Install two new wall signs as described below:
    • Gay Street sign - Install non-illuminated wall sign to the left of the main entrance. There is a similar sign in the same location to the right of the main entrance. The sign will be made of aluminimum and painted white. It will be approximately 100 inches wide by 18 inches tall (or 12.5 square feet).
    • Strate Street sign - Install wall sign near the top of the parking garage structure facing State Street, near the Main Street intersection. The sign will be approximately 30 feet long by 5 feet 2 inches tall (or 155 square feet). There are two requested options for finishing the sign: 1) non-illuminated with aluminum faces, painted black, or 2) internally illuminated with polycarbonate faces.

Property Notes / Work to be Completed
    • The location of these signs allow for internal illumination because the property is not located in a National Register Historic District. The proposed sign area, in addition to the existing signs, are within the allowed sign area within the C-2 (Central Business District) zone.
