APPROVE modified request. The current request is for a 4' wide x 4' tall awning more in scale with the building and consistent with adopted design guidelines, which provide that an awning shall project 4 feet from the storefront.

- Install awning, 52' wide x 9' high x 6' deep with 8" fixed valance.
- MODIFIED to be a 4' tall, 4' deep open ended canopy with a moveable valance.
- HZC SPECIFIES that frame be color clad rather than brushed aluminum, and that color of awning be a dark green or black.

- Style: Neoclassical Commercial (c.1935)
  - Three story, four bay brick with limestone trim and sills, altered cornice has replaced elaborate pressed metal cornice. Pilasters dividing bays of upper stories. Storefront c.1970.
