ADOPT RESOLUTION #2-C-17-SP, amending the South City Sector Plan to LDR (Low Density Residential) sector plan designation, and recommend the Knoxville City Council also approve the sector plan amendment, to make it operative.Most of the surrounding properties are already proposed for low density residential uses on the sector plan. The proposed plan amendment is an extension of the LDR designation from the surrounding properties. The current CI/PP plan designation is no longer appropriate because the site is no longer used as a school and is proposed to be sold for development of residential units by a private developer.
