Construction of a front porch addition that is 10' wide and 10' deep and a front facing gabled roof that extends from the house 6'. The porch columns will be 6" square with trim around the top and bottom. The porch foundation will be approximately 2'-6" tall and have a smooth stucco finish. The railings will be 2" square balusters that are connected to a top and bottom rail.
Construction of a 21' wide by 13'-5" deep addition on the right rear of the house. The siding will be vinyl narrow horizontal with a 4"-4.5" exposure. The windows will be double hung matching placement and dimensions of existing windows (32" x 54"). The roof will be a sloping shed style and will tie into the existing roof below the ridge. The foundation will be approximately 2'-7.5" tall and will have a smooth stucco finish.
Construction of a 10' wide by 24' deep wood deck on the right side of the house. The deck will be located approximately halfway back from the front of the existing house and will extend to the rear of the addition.
A parking pad will be provided to the rear of the house with access from Coram Street. The parking pad will be approximately 22.6' deep, or as otherwise required and approved by the City of Knoxville Department of Engineering.
The front porch will have a front setback of 18.3' to Atlantic Avenue and 11.9' to Coram Street. The existing house has a setback of 2.6' to Coram Street. The addition to the rear of the house will have a 19.9' setback to the rear lot line and a 43.4' setback to the side setback.
