APPROVE Certificate No. 51509ONK if roof slope is modified. (Level I portion of Certificate application was issued on 5/21/2009). Design guidelines for Accessory Buildings specifically require 12/12 roof pitch.Applicant Request
Mechanical system unit; Roofing; Siding; Other: 10' x 16' storage shed- Replace siding, fascia, soffit and trim boards in kind, as necessary; replace roof on bay and over the kitchen on the southwest side of house with slate look alike shingles to allow adequate drainage from shallow pitched roof (APPROVED - LEVEL I); and, add 10' x 16' accessory structure at the rear of the house 13' off of the alley. Accessory building to have weatherboard or board and batten wall covering, asphalt shingle roof covering, gable roof with 18" overhang, and 6/12 slope, 2/2 double hung wood windows, and a pier foundation.
- Modify roof design to 9/12 pitch; require rafter tails; require Z or X shaped bracing.

- S. B. Newman House. Two story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with gable dormers and slate covering. Double hung two over two and Queen Anne over two windows. One over one attic dormer windows with fanlights. Two story full front porch with Ionic capitals on round fluted wood columns n first story and sawn wood railing on second, accessed by single and paired eight light French doors.. One story bay with inset panels on south elevation. Two interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation with ashlared stone foundation under front porch. Irregular plan. Sidelights and transom on front elevation.
