:- At the main entrance of the church, remove the bottom two limestone stair treeds and replace with concrete as shown in the attached plans. The concrete will be tinted to closely match the color and profile of the limestone stair treads.
Property Notes / Work to be Completed
- First Baptist Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, however, staff has determined that it is not feasible to get replacement limestone to match the existing. These stair treads must be replaced because they hav cracked and are shifting. The new concrete stair treads will help stabilize the remaining limestone stair treads.
