Porch elements; Roofing; Windows
    • 1) Demolish the enclosed portion of the original wrap around porch on the north elevation and restore the original elevation and wraparound porch. 2) Enclose a portion of the rear porch to gain floor space for bathroom, without altering rear egress, and with all coverings and windows to match remainder of house. 3) Install feature window (oval) on stairwell landing, visible on north elevation. 4) Install three one over one windows on north side of house, one facing Deaderick on rear wing, and two facing north. 5) Decrease the size of one window on the left (south) elevation to accommodate the installation of an interior bath. 6) Rebuild chimney with soft, low Portland-content mortar. 7) As an option to the doubled column placement approved in June, owner may wish to install 11" fluted wood columns with Scamozzi capitals flanking front steps to porch, at front outside corner and at rear outside corner of porch.

      • Two story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gables and asphalt shingle covering, multi-patterned imbricated shingles and stylized keyhole window in gable end. Double hung one over one windows, paired on front projection with arched wood lintels with diamond shaped wood trim applied in arch. One story one-half front porch, square brick columns and wood balustrade removed. Interior offset brick chimney. Brick foundation. Irregular plan.
