DENY Level II (removal of portion of chimney). Level I Approved and Issued. (4th & Gill Design Guidelines, pg. 15, #2 - identify and preserve masonry features that define the historic character, & #9 - chimneys should not be removed or altered.Applicant Request
Masonry repair/painting- (Level I) Repair side chimney retaining its present height, repair siding, fascia, soffits and other trim or windows using identical design and similar materials; or (Level II) lower the chimney to flashing and rebuild to 7-8 feet above the roof, reusing existing brick. For either repair, use low Portland content mortar mix.

- One story frame with weatherboard wall covering and shingles in front gable. Central telescoping gabled roof with asphalt shingle covering, knee braces. Six (unevenly divided lights) over one double hung windows. One story full front porch with large splayed wood posts on brick piers, brick buttresses at porch steps. Exterior side brick chimney. Brick foundation. Rectangular plan.
