APPROVE the letter requesting consideration of exterior building materials and authorize the Chair of the Downtown Design Review Board to forward the letter to Mayor Rogero.Applicant Request
:- This is a draft letter, as requested by the Downtown Design Review Board at the August 16th meeting, to Mayor Rogero requesting consideration to amend the Downtown Knoxville Design Guidelines to include recommendations for appropriate exterior building materials.
Property Notes / Work to be Completed
- The Board requested that staff include a summary of peer city regulations and if/how they regulate exterior building materials on downtown structures; however, staff determined that this level of research and document preparation is more appropriate after the city administration makes a determination on whether to proceed with the Board's request.
