The Knoxville-Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission and the Knox County Health Department in partnership with Project for Public Spaces cordially invite you to a special discussion about innovative approaches to community-based projects.A light breakfast will be served.The Project for Public Spaces is a nonprofit planning, design and educational organization which helps people create and sustain public spaces that build stronger communities. To date they have completed projects in more than 3000 communities in 43 countries and all 50 U.S. states. They are considered the premier center for best practices, information and resources on Placemaking and come to Knoxville through an EPA grant for placemaking in South Knoxville.
