Growth Policy Plan

Tennessee public chapter 1101: as adopted by the City of Knoxville, Knox County, and the Town of Farragut.

Tennessee Public Chapter 1101 requires city and county governments to prepare a 20-year Growth Plan. The Knox County Growth Policy Coordinating Committee was formed in 1998 to prepare a local growth plan for Knoxville, Knox County, and Town of Farragut. The plan was adopted in 2001 and amended in 2024. The original document, as well as the amended sections, can be found below.
