Kara Daley / Knox County

Kara Daley is an East Tennessee native and owner of The Diner at Twisters Shakes & Sundaes.

Kara began working at The Diner at Twisters Shakes & Sundaes in April 2008 and she has worked there since. After managing the store for nearly a decade, Kara took over ownership. In her years at Twisters, Kara has implemented new procedures and technologies to improve efficiency and operations at the store. As owner, she ensures compliance with regulations, analyzes financial data, and develops strategies to improve performance.  Her goal as a Planning Commissioner is to support responsible and substantial growth for not only our current needs but for future generations.
