Katie Overton / Knox County
A Knoxville native, Katie is an associate attorney with Kramer Rayson LLP.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law where she graduated cum laude in 2021. Katie also obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee in 2017, majoring in Accounting, with a collateral in Finance. She has a broad practice that focuses generally on employment law, assisting and advising employers on a variety of employment matters arising under state and federal law. Her practice also includes general litigation and municipal law. As a planning commissioner, her goal is to foster growth and opportunity for the next generation of leaders, citizens, and business owners of Knox County. Katie has a unique perspective on the lack of available housing for young Knoxvillians, and will advocate for a Knoxville that still holds opportunity for those who grew up here. Katie currently resides in downtown Knoxville with her husband and their rescue dog, Archie.
