Marité Pérez / City of Knoxville

Marité Pérez is a mortgage loan officer for First Colony Mortgage. She graduated from Colorado State University with an MBA in social and sustainable entrepreneurship.


Marité is a passionate servant leader who strives to help organizations and the community in advocacy, environment, and financial education. She currently serves on the Tennessee Human Rights Commissions and has served on the boards of Centro Hispano de East Tennessee, The National Association of Hispanic Realtors, LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, and The Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board. Her goals as commissioner are to make informed decisions after carefully considering the use of land and the voices of citizens to ensure Knoxville’s growth is equitable and responsible.
