Level 1: Sign

Install a new 9 sqft projecting sign with external illumination and two window signs. The round portion of the projecting sign will be 32.5" in diameter and the bracket will have acrylic letters attached to a metal background that is 5" tall by 32.5" wide. The round portion of the sign will have an acrylic/lexan face with aluminum cabinet. The projecting sign will be located on the Gay Street elevation, near the Union Ave. corner of the building and will be attached the existing sign mounting location in the cornice of the storefront. The sign will have a clearance of the sidewalk of approximately 14'-3". The external illumination will be attached to the building about 18" on either side of the sign. The light fixture will will similar to the one for the Clancy's sign (see attached image).

The window signs will be attached to the two storefront windows at the Gay Street / Union Avenue corner of the building, with one facing each street. The window sign facing Gay Street will be approximately 73" wide and 14" tall, and the Union Avenue sign will be approximately 62" wide and 14" tall. The signs will both be approximately 15 percent of the storefront glass area, which is less than the 30 percent maximum allowed by the Downtown Knoxville Design Guidelines.
